Is it very different? Not if we are rounding up people who are/have waged war against us.

Gem....To me, it is torture for me, every time I see a woman being stoned to death. She is being murdered right in front of my eyes, and I can't help her.

To see such a sight, it makes me, a victim of seeing torture, want to kill the person/persons who are killing her.

I can't imagine how enraged I would be if I actually saw in person, Saddam shredding people. Or cutting off their limbs when they were still alive. It is hard enough to read of those events, and to see the actual machines used for the killings.

I can't imagine how enraged I would be if I saw someone strapping a bomb onto a child (or anyone else for that matter), and sending that child into a crowd to be blown up, and blowing up many others.

Or actually seeing Hitler and his minions killing the millions they did.

Or PolPot, or Idi Amin, or Stalin. And all the other murdering barbarians of the world.

When we see a beheading on video, I feel the same way. Murder is murder. That by itself is a form of torture to the viewer.
