CME housing futures: Is NOBODY actually using these?

Message 23513861

I'm curious about the mechanics of them, and would love to talk to somebody about it.

Do I have to be the one to dip my toes into unfamiliar waters first?

It *appears* that one would have made money being short in February and March in most places, but I would love to find out just how well that would have worked in practice.

Scary part is that you could have been dead nuts on a year ago and still not made a dime being short in several cities.
