More bad news on my friend whom I described as having left Medicare to get into one of those insurance programs that promised the world only to learn that when one needed a Doctor or hospital that the plan was so selective it was difficult to find either. She got a diagnosis from the bleeding. It was a growth that has wrapped itself around her urethra and it is cancerous and it is inoperable. They have sent her home and she might have chemo and radiation but the prognosis is a heavy one. To think this woman was working at Target in October and carrying trees and plants to cars for customers.. hail and hearty and now is thin, weak and very ill. I hope all of you pay attention to symptoms. She had bleeding and thought it was a urine infection.. SAD for me as she is a wonderful human being and only 73..
