I tried to research the reasons for 9/11... and not from just the liberal press. What I came up with was that Bin Laden in his zealous defense of the Muslim world was angry about the United States presence all over the middle east. He did what every Muslim is required to do before attacking ones enemy and that is what he viewed the US to be.. He warned US.. Actually told us what would happen and even with that warning we were unable to comprehend that a wanderer in wraps and turban through the mountains of Afghanistan would be able to pull of an event such as transgressing on our land.... He also has offered a chance for negotiating which Bush has scoffed at... Instead of at LEAST ...trying to negotiate a peace and appease a fanatic we just threw back the rhetoric that we will wipe them out... AND as we all can see this is not going to happen. They just keep indoctrinating... and recruiting other zealots and one does not wipe out an IDEA.. Christianity should be a good example of how ideas spread. When human beings buy into something that hits the GUT.. and fills the mind it is very persuasive and there is no stopping it. This is what I believe.
