Hi Fran and Everyone....I'm back again for a few days, then Lord willin' am gone again in June....I loved being a Special Git on Sunday...and it really was. The Conference I went to was fun, busy, great to see longtime friends, and for a change, I'm only sorta pooped today.

We did have a real scare with our son. Because of the work caused accident of nearly 3 weeks ago, and a couple of huge delays, he had emergency surgery on Friday. One disk was totally ruptured, and pushed the nerve back onto the spinal column....VERY long story, but a top Nerosurgeon was found in ID, and said of the 3,000+ ops he has done, this was the worst he had seen. Son is feeling better today, they sent him from the hospital within 24 hours !!!!! (that is stunning all by itself) and he has many things he must do in the next few months. May be on permanent disability for a year....we don't know the extent of the damage as yet and may not entirely for months, the Doc said. The Doc also told my other son, he didn't know how his brother had withstood the extreme pain for so long....!

But he is living, has a plate and screws into his backbone, and feels much better than before the surgery.

As I've said many times, if you want to make God Laugh, tell Him what you're doing tomorrow...
