The question is not what temps have done over the last 400K years shown on a graph which precludes any understanding of the present. It is what will happen in the next 100 years or so that is interesting. For that you kind of just need to expand part of that graph a little, to make things less obscure. Unless of course, your goal is in fact to make things obscure.
