You are on a roll today! Another excellent example of why you don't know anything about climate. The science of "global cooling" i.e. that certain pollutants cause cooling was indeed worked out back then, and is quite correct. That has nothing to do with the fact that other pollutants in fact have the opposite effect. Do you recall that we installed lots of Sulfur scrubbers to remove that pollutant? In fact, the science of those pollutants is suggested as one means of combating global warming: Spew more pollution. It has obviously other significant problems, so I doubt it will be tried, but a certain class no doubt likes it!
