"underlying the reasons for making them illegal in the first place is racism."

This isn't true. They're illegal no matter what race they are if they come here illegally. Some areas, like San Francisco and NYC have significant Chinese, eastern European and Russian illegal populations.

They are drawn by employment and encouraged by a base of fellow countrymen that support them.

That may be true in some circumstance but it wasn't true in LA. First of all, its against the law to rent to illegals. Its an issue that seems to get lost with some people. They are called illegals because they are violating American law on several different levels. And there is a cost we are all paying for those violations.

Yeah, but underlying the reasons for making them illegal in the first place is racism. If they weren't illegal, they could rent apartments.

So you want to open our borders and let anyone who wants to come come. Say that number is 1 billion. Do you have any thoughts on how we would accommodate all one billion?
