I don't know much about the TA, but it seems you are a bit behind the key issues here, maybe not a big behind, but a bit LOL.

The TA apparently has new management. That would seem to require a new look at your "theory," if that is, in fact, your theory of telling if something is a scam.

Are you suggesting that the TA has something to do with scamming?

I wonder if you'd explain this. How does a TA create or foster a scam? Seems a bit "conspiratorial."
