"I thought the points system was one of the better ideas in the proposed bill....." Yes, I'm with you on that one. That part of the bill, (even though 'phased in' slowly) is a much-needed improvement over the current system. "I wonder who would beat Graham in South Carolina? Somebody more conservative? Hmmmmm.....Strom's dead..can't run again." I have heard that certain local Party officials have been agitating for someone to come forward to run against him for a while. don't know much more then that, however. (What I'd heard was that he was 'too weak on torture'... and now, i guess, he's not 'Anglophile enough'. :-)
