I heard Fred Thompson say it was too early to enter...he doesn't want the voters to get too tired .... I like him, and think he and Rudy would make a good team.

I think what we are seeing in Rudy is the lawyer part of his persona, plus he is a New Yorker. If GWB were a lawyer, and not a MBA, we would have had less sass from the folks who fancy themselves the "intelligentsia."

Plus we probably would still be trying to dig out from the Clinton induced financial bubble that BURST all over the country, as well as from 9-11.

Lawyers generally aren't the best person to trust with finances. Most of them have not a single Finance or Business class in Law School. Rudy is smart enough to hire good people for the offices.

Both Rudy and GWB ran major large municipal entities....NYC and Texas. Both did a good job.

I hope when GWB is finished office, that his book includes ALL the names and behind the scenes stories....and not his usual "nice guy" self.
