Yeah, that is why almost 70 percent of Americans are against the war. Because the casualties are "so low". Yeah, right.

The casualties being low, is a simple matter of fact. The percentage of people against the war is a reflection of opinion. If there were 100,000 KIA but everyone supported the war would that mean casualties where low? If there was one person with a sprained ankle, and no one else has as much as a bruise, but 90% where against the war would that mean casualties where high?

You seem to have temporarily moved away fro ad-hominem in favor of non-sequitur.

And let's not forget that "casualties" also includes the injured. According to the DoD's own numbers, that is over 25,000

25,000 is low for a war. Unfortunately most wars have higher casualties, often much higher.
