"The President is wrong, wrong, wrong...did I mention he is wrong?" He's consistent though! (Some might call it stubborn.... :-) When he makes his mind up (& apparently he made his mind up on this immigration issue YEARS ago), he doesn't change it... come Hell or high water. :-) PS --- You might also also notice the predictable presence of the US Chamber of Commerce lined up enthusiastically behind this deal: 1) no toughened penalties on business who hire illegals, 2) legalization for 14 MILLION current illegals, 3) a BRAND NEW program to bring in up to 600,000 very low wage 'guest workers', 4) a BIG expansion for the H1 visa program (high wage jobs, engineers and such), 5) continued bureaucratic 'slow-down' in construction of the border fence, and ineffectual 'feel good' Border Patrol changes... practically guaranteed to not slow down the rate of illegals crossing the borders.... Hell, what's NOT TO LIKE in this bill for big business? Seems like it will at least double the rate of immigration into the country... and is likely to keep downward pressure on wages in America (at the bottom, and at the top, of the wage scale) for the rest of this century.
