Democrats are going to run all three branches after 2008 by going centrist. This is blowback after the Rovian propaganda lies which cost Dems in 2000-2004, that is claiming we were somehow not Christian, tough or patriotic enough. As a result, DEms recruited candidates like Jim Webb in 2004 who are obviously more macho and patriotic than their GOP challengers. That will probably continue. Dems have also recruited record numbers of veteran candidates, and we are making large inroads into disillusioned evangelicals, many of whom are realizing that christ would not approve at all of Bush-Cheney-Delay, that those guys are major league sinners and hypocrites.
