USA Today Reporting Global Warming MUCH WORSE than feared, as bad as three times as dire as scientists thought, and a lot of is CHina which is burning like a cauldron, coal mostly. THis is the environmental emergency many of us have been fearing for decades. It's also important to note that some of the worst areas in the US are the rural areas where pro-corporate Republican leaders have been in charge. Ever since I was a kid I'd see that, driving through the south or midwest, seeing the rivers sudsy with pollution, smelling the paper mills and refineries. Red state American really needs to clean up its act. Pollution needs to be an all-American issue, not just a "liberal" one. And the GOP needs to quit running candidates who are glorified pimps and prostitutes for the pollution lobby.
