You claim that your opponents presented a certain idea, then you laugh at that idea. I'm not sure if you don't realize or don't care that they didn't actually push the idea that you ridicule. Bush in particular has always said that the conflict will not be short or easy. Even if he had claimed it would be short and easy, it would only be an argument against Bush credibility, not against my credibility, or the actual issue under discussion, what to do about Iraq now.
