"I see warlordism and intercene strife among the different terror groups." Hold onto that thought. Back to my Pakistan prophesy then. Pakistan actually has 5 military regions. The military leader from each region agreed to let Musharraf stand as their head. This has been repeated in Pakistan as regimes have taken over or fallen. They all get real scary and then when they can identify a head to lead them they fold under that one. If you have watched the upheavals in Iraq you see it much more clearly. When ever there is a sign of weakness in power, several insurgent groups begin warring against each other. If one begins to look like a challenger to the thrown they all disappear behind that one. When Bin Laudin did that in Afghanistan (not even his country) we got the Taliban govt. It was the most successful organized take over in that region ever. And it happened while we were sleeping.
