I too think we're in deep shit and expect a major economic contraction. are we going to get it? eventually, unless we are printed into hyperinflation.

already, there's an economic contraction in michigan. does this mean the money supply is deflating here? if we could examine michigan as a closed it wouldn't surprise me.

I have no patience for people taunting mish. I give him credit for sticking by his guns. will he be wrong? I don't know, but looking at it over even a two year time frame isn't long enough.

Your scenario is exactly what we need to have happen to clear this mess up, but I don't see Americans stopping the buying spree until every last drop of credit is used up.
