14:43 QCOM Qualcomm: Follow up (47.44 +1.32) -Update-

Deutsche Bank says their checks with industry contacts indicate that Broadcom (BRCM) and QCOM have reached a comprehensive settlement on their outstanding legal disputes. The firm says while they do not yet know the exact terms of the agreement, they believe it has positives for both companies. For BRCM firm says, this should free them to begin marketing and shipping their WCDMA baseband chip more freely. For QCOM, this would remove a significant legal overhang for the co.

hard to say. After the bust, entrepreneurs are afraid and nobody wants to be the next friendster. RVBD is further along, but still. that recession/depression we had here really freaked people out.
