Maybe the consignment shop you hire to sell your old furniture is also a fiduciary, who knows, the world is a crazy place these days. Maybe someone held a meeting I wasn't invited to and expanded the definition of "fiduciary" beyond all reason, and everyone else went along with it without stopping to ask why. Maybe Ebay is now a fiduciary and you can sue them if your piece of french toast with a pattern on it that resembles the Virgin Mary doesn't sell for quite as much as it should have.
