yes I understand what you're saying and that's the one thing that worries me, but they've always had relatively high caps as compared to the rest of the universe so its all relative and their caps have grown at the expense of the us makers.

The returns are never going to be huge either (maybe 25%~30%), but in HMC's case I think this is a good place to start or add to a position. I'm not as excited about Toy as an investment but that's just from a valuation standpoint as compared to HMC.

There's an indian maker TTM that is interesting but much more speculative....and probably significantly more upside potential in the long run (5 years or more).

And of course there's Tesla Motors...what a neat car they have..an electric roadster for $92k...not a public company, at least not yet.
