You don't like the idea of suicide bombers and those who condone that behavior being viewed differently from any one anywhere in the world who might favor the notion of revenge, do you? Homicide bombers (to put the term more accurately) don't generally target the precise kin of those who may have directly harmed them. What they do is target innocent citizens in order to inflict the most pain for political and religious reasons. What began this discourse was your pooh-poohing the notion that anyone should be concerned over the results of that poll. I have explained to you why those results were a legitimate source of concern. Your reaction and willingness to essentially find a justification for terrorism is just another example of why those poll numbers are alarming.

Elroy, it has been privately suggested to me that you have been in th ME far too long and are in serious need of a vacation- -particular from SI. Perhaps back to the US. I think you understand Americans too little. There have been a few nutball fundie Xians who have killed docs who perform abortions. It can almost certainly be presumed that their more reasonable co-religionist Xians were on the juries that convicted them (unanimous verdict, remember?) and sent them to prison or the death chamber. There was McVeigh and his buddy. Jim Jones. Koresh. Do you think you can add enough to make in reach 1 in 8,000,000????? 1 in 8? ARE YOU KIDDING???? That is so far over the number for Xians or Jews as to be absurd! Come on, be a man, admit you're wrong, and take your licking! BTW, my personal financial business (and stock trades) are my personal financial business- -not yours and not the site's. I occasionally tell certain people in PM what I am doing. I pick who they are and they are not you. I do, as do all, have some losses. I admit them to those people. "Picks" is moderated. If you feel so hot under the collar, you may try to persuade the moderator to ban me. OTOH, if you do so, I might get pissed and see if I can get Mr. Sully to ban YOU.
