Yes, the BlackBerry is worthless for Internet and I didn't get it for that - or for downloading big attached files, or any files at all actually.
Where that is called for one needs to follow up from a computer but where keeping the pot boiling has a high value the BlackBerry is so far the perfect solution.

Also the unique option of receiving, mixing and swap transmission modes between email and sms (short messaging service) is extremely useful.

I use a separate cell phone for voice as well with my BB only used as a voice back up because the voice function isn't very good either.
