Thanks, Clapster!

Went to (in this order): Taos, Chaco Canyon, Canyon de Chelly, Monument Valley, Natural Bridges, Canyonlands and Arches National Monuments.

There are two books out written by Laurent Martres, a Frenchman who has spent much time in this area. They are: Photographing the Southwest, Vol. 1 & 2.

They contain a wealth of photographic information for the amateur as well as the professional photographer. If you're remotely interested, you should get them as they contain information (how to get there) for the non camera buff.

In Canyon de Chelly (where the Jeep was shot) and Monument Valley, to get to the good spots you must hire a Navajo guide as these two locations are in Navajo Country. The rest are all government owned national parks.

Hope this helps!
