how about the 40% that think Muslims had nothing to do with 9-11 ?

Yeah, that is pretty amazing. Probably has something to do with literacy being about 30% among the polled group, who knows? Don't 30% of Democrats think Bush knew about 9/11 in advance? Wonder what literacy is among Democrats.

This was something I was discussing with friends over steaks Thursday. With all the reality TV shows, why hasn't someone pot together a documentary which interviews the mom/pop/siblings of each of the 9/11 terrorists, shows where they grew up, interviews their flight instructors, their imams, their college profs, etc? It couldn't cost all that much, and I'd bet it would be a HUGE ratings pull. Who wouldn't watch?

"The 9-11 hijackers: Who Were They?"
M, T, W from 9pm-10pm on ABC.

You could have three one hour episodes over three nights.

And since such a huge chunk of the Muslim population evidently thinks the Muslims had nothing to do with 9/11, it would be great history as well.

In fact, it would probably be good media for the Republicans in their effort to generate support for the War on Terror. Can you imagine three hours of quotes from guy's like this guy?

The elder Mr. Atta also claims to have spoken with Mohamed by phone two days after the air crashes of the 11th. He held interviews with the German news magazine Bild am Sonntag in late 2002 claiming that his son is alive, and in hiding. Although it's widely believed that Mr. Atta clearly made up the claims of speaking with his son after September 11, 2001, as well as that of his son being alive and well, all steming out of denial to his son's role in the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the USA. In July 2005 Atta's father (interviewed by CNN) said the attacks in the United States and the July 7 attacks in London were the beginning of what would be a 50-year religious war, in which there would be many more fighters like his son. [27]
