NTAP said that it wasn't a competitive issue, their
win rate against competition was normal. If I were
a competitor like EMC, I'd try and screw up the other
guy's year end as much as I could. Did they? Who
knows...

Even with NTAP's projected revenue drop in Q1, a soft
quarter for them, they are projecting 20%+ revenue
growth compared year-to-year. So even with a sequential
drop from Q4 to Q1, they still are projecting reasonably
strong growth in a seasonally slower quarter, which all
points to competitive strength.

Also, their gross margins still are strong around 60%.

All that said, it'll be interesting to see the next
couple quarters or so play out...
