Thats gross...but I still think I'd laugh at them.

Here's a guy who's been looking for the Glory Hole. Read the text under the pic. Interesting guy.

pbase.com

We were out and about in a very remote part of the Black Hills, following Castle Creek up. Bud and I were out of the truck taking some pics of the creek, when I heard "Hello there". It startled me something fierce, and I looked around and at first didn't see anyone...Then I saw some movement on the edge of the creek, and this character popped up from along side the stream.

My first thought was of Karen Steubing, pbase.com and some of her sojourns up the hollers of West Virginia lol but after visiting with this gentleman he turned out to be very interesting...I learned his life story in a matter of minutes and it turned out he was the owner of the Glory Hunter Gold Mine which I took a picture of last year.. pbase.com

He cussed the government, tourists, and civilization in general while telling me he has lived in these parts since '93 looking for the Glory Hole Vein that supplies the gold that Castle Creek washes down to his meager workings...All in all it was a delightful visit...A true hermit in todays age.
