Not only do I not see them withdrawing I think we may be in another engagement with Iran... More fuel to the fire. I will be surprised if this happens. It's beginning to look as if the core of this incarnation of Bush's foreign policy team are conservative realists. The father's foreign policy orientation. They are extremely unlikely to use overt force in Iran. I thought the Steve Clemons post is an indication of just how desperate the remaining neocon types may be with that policy direction.
