A list of the number of deaths per month isn't much of an argument. It doesn't prove either side wrong. Well I suppose in theory it could. If one side said "we are winning" and then the deaths went from 5 per month, to 10, to 100, to 1000, to 10000... In other words if you had a clear and serious trend, and that trend was strongly to the side of things getting worse. But numbers bouncing around in the general region... Of course war is a messy violent thing, and yes we do accidentally hit innocent people. As opposed to our opponents who purposely kill innocent people.

Yeah, right. That is why you don't even bother to count how many innocents are "accidentally" killed by you. Didn't the guy who said, "We don't do body counts" get a gold medal from your Dumbyasshole?

As for the oil, there is nothing wrong or unreasonable about trying to protect important resources.

Ah, the "what's our oil doing under their country?" bit. Great!

We're into the fifth year of the Dumbyasshole's war and....

The system for delivering badly needed gear to Marines in Iraq has failed to meet many urgent requests for equipment from troops in the field, according to an internal document obtained by The Associated Press.

Of more than 100 requests from deployed Marine units between February 2006 and February 2007, less than 10 percent have been fulfilled, the document says.

I can already anticipate your moronic and monotonic response to this - "Nothing's perfect".

Well, far from perfect. It's absolutely pathetic and shameless. Just like you.
