Take the Wasatch Front

And do what with it? Density is too low to support mass transit in Utah, and always will be.

We are about to spend billions here in Oahu to run light rail from West Oahu to Honolulu. The aim is to cut the use of the freeway. What it will accomplish is:

Large profits for the contractors.

Large graft for the Pols.

75K a year Teamster jobs for the conductors. Who will strike and shut it down every couple of years to increase their pay and bennies.

Convenient place for local thugs to find victims to rob.

Miles and miles of empty track as people refuse to get out of their cars and get on the tram.

The solution was to double deck the freeway and build low-rise parking structures downtown.
