Ardour Capital is a new name to me 11:07 AMSC Am Superconductor upgraded to Buy from Hold, tgt raised to $20 from $17 at Ardour Capital (16.35 +0.40) Ardour upgrades AMSC to Buy from Hold and raises their tgt to $20 from $17 after the co reported Q4 results. Firm says they were pleased with the rev results and can see clear signs of the beginnings of margin improvements. Firm also says the Windtec acquisition gives AMSC increased access to the rapidly growing global wind market, by means of both wind turbine design and increased customer exposure to its D-VAR voltage regulation modules. They are excited by the implications of Project Hydra. Not only will it significantly boost the production of the co's newly restructured Superconductors business unit, but it might represent a pioneering technology that other utilities may adapt in the future.
