Doesn't this cut both ways? Shouldn't they ALSO be required to understand that separation of church and state is fundamental to American democracy instead of calling for the death of all Americans?

Elroy is simply wrong, as I pointed out to him, in his statement that there is no "Islamic world". While the word "umma" has multiple meanings, the primary one is precisely that.

What's even more bizarre is that this poster apparently is incapable of seeing the grave difference between slaughtering and maiming innocent children and defending oneself from attack.

The "Christian" example used fails to address the underlying basis for alarm. That a quarter of American muslims can somehow justify suicide bombings equates to no other plausible scenario.
