Thanks for the well wishes. Today is the first day I haven't had a very uncomfortable gut. It's still not good, but improving. I've taken to grazing my way through the day, rather than sitting down to a full meal. I think that's a nicer way to treat my innards until they're back to normal. It didn't help matters for my niece to show up with her 12 year old son and 2 year old daughter. This had been in the plans for over a month, but I sure didn't feel like having company. I love these people dearly, and wanted to visit, visit, visit. Between my not feeling well and the constantly demanding 2 year old, we never got to talk. This was very disappointing to my 90 year old mother, who firmly believes she will never see that group again. Gonna take it real easy for the week end. Grill some burgers and enjoy some very nice weather. Hope you can do the same. Hubby mending on schedule? Best wishes for that.

I missed that, Neeka...Didn't know he had had surgery...Ouch...I hated that particular surgery, but in the long run, glad I had it done. It took some time to get through that one, but it was certainly necessary to be done! How is he doing now? Is he doing the pulley, and letting his fingers crawl up the wall, etc? I thought of every single as a little battle won. Tell him I'm sending my best! That must have been more than scary with the baby. Poor little guy! So glad things seem to be better now.... and you're right about the health issues for everyone. I've thought the same thing.
