Bill Matthews used to be a not-too-good but reputable newsletter writer. I guess times are tough for not-too-good newsletter writers these days.

I think his success was also hampered by the stupid-looking photo that he always used, with his mouth open in surprise ("goll-lee, lookee here, one of my stocks actually went UP?!").

Received June 7 a repeat mailer from Bill Matthew's The Cheap investor promting Finmetal Mining Ltd.

The disclosure repeats the same facts - "Epsom Investment Services N.V. paid $1,157,695"

You can actually find Epsom via a google search - highly unusual to identify a payor.

Upon receiving the first FNMM mailer, the share price was $1.48.
