Those are great, but they're 180 players now. I am playing the $15 350 player tourney in 5 minutes on PS. I have never done well in this one, so maybe today is the day I get the monkey off my back. And out of The White House. <G>

The World Poker Tour has fired its latest t.v. hostess. All 3 of the women have been o.k. at their jobs, and it isn't brain surgery. The first one, Shana, quit and was not fired. She's doing NBC's poker shows. The 4th one has just been hired. Darlin', save half your paycheck, because there is no tenure. Next year, the WPT switches from The Travel Channel to The Game Show Network, which has about 60% of the households that Travel has. If they don't get the same ratings, which is nearly impossible given the lower number of people who can watch GSN (I, for example, do not receive it), I guess they'll blame the new hostess.

This turnover is surprising because: 1. They can't be paying her that much to be pretty and able to say easy words without stumbling. 2. Nobody tunes in to see the hostess. They are nice, but they are definitely side shows to the main action. 3. They spend maybe 3 minutes a week on camera.

Still, 4 years, 4 hostesses.
