did the sensors work though rock ? caves? tunnels? ravines? Pretty rough area. Pretty harsh winters, would the sensors hold up ? how are they powered ?

The Pashtun move back and forth across the border. There are more of the in Pakistan than in Afghanistan. Its bad enough when we take an aimed shot at real terrorists, and innocents get caught in the cross fire, but when totally innocent travelers start to routinely get hit by "old 155 howitzers", that go off whenever a sensor trips, I think you will have just given the Taliban and excellent recruitment tool.
