I have found that if you order your weird low demand movies from Netflix you get much quicker service. I have been tweaking my Netflix system and have found that 1. I get a 24 hour return if I send the movie back from my home mail box rather than from a street mailbox (I think because our mailman presorts it for us rather than having the envelope dumped in a big bin). 2. if I put low demand movies in I get an immediate turn around- BUT there is one problem, sometimes weird movies are only kept at one location, and for movies that need to be shipped across the country (I recently ordered the Cousin Bette two disc set with Helen Mirren)- you can see an extra delay of one day. They usually say there will be two days delay, but I've found it is only one.

I now get the first runs from Hollywood- and since there aren't that many I want to see, and since Discover sends me 50% off rental cards for my rewards points, it's an easy cheap solution to trying to get first run movies from Netflix.
