Health care in New Zealand is just awful. It looks fine on the surface, but there's no depth - like an elaborate first-aid station.

The reason New Zealand's health care system saves money is because Australia and New Zealand have a reciprocal residency agreement.

When New Zealanders get a serious health problem which their health care system is unable to cope with, they move to Australia for the duration of their illness.

If America adopted this system, which nation stands ready to treat seriously sick Americans?

The answer is there isn't one, so America can't become a health care bludger like New Zealand.
