Situations such as a pilot being killed or a chance to grab an enemy chopper. Nothing fancy, just take off, fly and land. The tank they can probably figure out. A neighbor got an M1 Abrams for the local Legion and kept it on his farm. Supposed to disable the engine and guns, but daym they worked and who's going to break something that works. He got a little weird with it and they took it away from him.
