I would tend to agree with the guy in the article who thinks the 1 in 8 US Muslims who think suicide bombing are "in some cases justified" are those who believe Palestinian suicide bombing against Israelis is a legitimate form of resistance. I doubt that they believe indiscrimate killing of innocents in an unprovoked undeclared war because they feel like it (as you put it) is justified.

Do you think 1 in 8 US Muslims supports killing innocents because they feel like it, or do you think 1 in 8 US Muslims thinks Palestinian suicide bombings of Israelis is justified, or does the distinction not matter to you?

I don't think Koresh, Jim Jones, Tim McVeigh, or any murderous Christians or Jews who kill without provocation are justified either. I think they're guilty of murder. Do you?

Sure. And my hunch is that those 1 in 8 US Muslims agree with that as well.
