>Strife Foreseen in Iraq Exit, but Experts Split on Degree

The Military industrial complex et al has been consistently wrong on JUST ABOUT everything so far. They are probably wrong about this too. You take away the RESISTANCE and things start to change. There is no other choice. They (MIC) can't predict what will happen just as they couldn't predict that we would get in to this pathetic mess. Time heals. It's the only thing that is going to heal this situation. It's pretty simple. YOU continue to do what you've been doing and you will continue to get what you've got.

Iraq will be a bloody place whether we stay or go. The difference is, if we stay we are the lightning rods for violance and attracting in foreign Jihadists. If we go, the Iraqis may be able to fight off the foreingers themselves. Or they will just go home.
