Net none I'm pretty sure. Resistance develops within 5-10 years. The problem was Ag spraying much more than health spraying. Not only does this wipe out DDT for health reasons, but it will wipe out related chemicals due to cross resistance, leaving you worse off than before.

The current approach of spraying DDT within houses is fine, and makes scientific sense. This is much less likely to breed resistance, for very obvious reasons. Large scale spraying outside is blockheaded stupid.
