We have plenty of different stuff. They are even on par cost wise in many cases. But no matter what chemical one uses, you must be intelligent about it, or it does not last long. Widespread environment spraying is almost always a losing strategy.

I've worked with testing new ag chemical insecticides for more than a decade, and I see this first hand. One of the really good products my wife and I helped test on tree fruit, Success, is now starting to fail. All of about 5-7 years after widespread use. It was an excellent product, but many growers used it like there was no tomorrow, and hence have killed it for everyone. Very typical approach in this industry.
