I wiped copious hanging, swinging drool from a dogs's mouth yesterday. Our visiting dog was slobbering due to a bassett hound from down the way. Toby was loose and standing out on the side of our front yard. I am calling Toby and saying hello to him and our three golden retrievers (one we're babysitting) were jumping up and down and barking amidst commands to Sit and No Bark!

The funniest thing is that Toby would approach two or three steps and stop and watch. Then he would repeat himself. Finally, after about ten stop and starts, he got his nose to the fence to sniff the other dogs while his owner appeared with a leash.. He was soooo brave. Meanwhile, Ginger, the neighbors dog - bigger than Toby and smaller than our golden retrievers was attempting to crawl under her fence to play with Toby and was a third of the way out before she was stopped...

The dogs were having a great time while meeting. It was fun to watch Toby. :) After that incident was when I wiped the drool from Hank... yes, I can see mph drooling :)

I notice my word is Slick... well, drool is 'slick'... :)
