These candidates amaze me. i.e.Obama' comments in Chicago---- "So let's put aside the fear mongering and let's put aside the rhetoric and let's put aside the politics and let's come together and ... all of us support the troops," Obama told a labor gathering in Chicago. The Illinois senator, in a statement, said the Republican candidates "clearly believe the course we are on in Iraq is working, but I do not." He then pointed to McCain's recent visit to a Baghdad market under heavy guard as a reflection of a failing policy." Mj's observations---- Obama is running for Democrat Nomination for President, he isn't running for Class President, this is very real politics and he had better get used to it as the questions become tougher now and if he should gain the nomination for the Democrat Party. Several questions I would ask Obama is---- 1. Mr. Obama, would you have sent Presidential Candidate Mc Cain into Baghdad without heavy gaurd? 2. A followup question----Mr. Obama, given that there are no war zones in America as in Iraq, would you be willing to give up your Secret Service Protection? Comment----------- Obama is not being realistic-----have we made progress in Iraq?---- of course we have. Is it realistic to send our candidates into a war zone without protection---------of course not. Is it realistic for him to have Secret Service Protection----of course he and ALL of the Presidential Candidates should have a Secret Service team----they are all in danger from some nut case who wants to influence our elections. mj
