barringer re #7820- "To condemn a whole religion is wrong and oversimplification"- I agree, however, you started with the stuff about the Bible containing references to violence and abuse and about how Muslims most likely don't know the koran by heart, which is probably true, BUT islamists are the danger, not Mormons, Amish, etc., AND they use their religion as their reasoning. Or, you haven't noticed that part?

To condemn a whole religion is wrong and oversimplification. I'm not condemning a religion. I'm condemning it's followers. When your religion tells you to kill everyone that doesn't believe like you, it might be time to look elsewhere for guidance. Ya think?

To condemn each and every one of these is not only NOT an oversimplification, but is the only thing to do by clear thinking people. You can choose to have your head in the sand if you wish, but that does not mean you are safe from having it beaheaded by these lunatics. And please note that these are islamic people living in many instances side by side with westerners by choice. When did you ever see a Hindu with a similar sign? Or a Jew? Or a Presbyterian? Or this?
