Krugman is currently a professor of economics and international affairs at Princeton University. He is also an author and a columnist for The New York Times, writing a twice-weekly op-ed for the newspaper since 2000. Because of his column's aggressive stance towards the Bush administration and the Republican party, he is widely considered one of the most outspoken, aggressive proponents of liberal views in mainstream media.
