Guiliani likes to dress up like a woman and has mob ties.

Romney used to be for gay rights and abortion rights and now poses as the opposite, without explanation. Romney is also a rich blue blood elitist.

McCain looks old, tired and crotchedly and has surrendered his "straight talk" repuation by backing Bush way too much.

Hillary, Edwards, Obama, Biden and the others have no such problems.

If I were a Republican I would get behind Chuck Hagel and urge him to run. He's your last honest man who seems competent. Mayor Bloomberg might be another decent choice, though a Jewish billionaire president seems unlikely.

How do the leftwingers explain Lieberman's defeat of Lamont in CT? That states election was all about the war - unlike most races. It was in a blue liberal Democrat dominated state. Lamont should have won.

But then McGovern didn't carry CT either.

The left is convincing itself that 70% of the public have joined them in barking-moonbat-land. They eat up the polls that tell them what they want to believe. They think a Democratic President in '08 is a sure thing.

Yet the Democrats have Hillary (whom half the country hates), a wet behind the ears black Senator, two phony snake oil salesmen (Gore and Edwards).

While the Republicans have a deep bench with Rudy, Romney, Thompson, etc.

I think the 2008 Presidential race is the Republicans to lose.
