CLINTON let bin Laden go many yrs before Tora Bora and it didn't bother you. Can you say double standard?

Bush-Cheney were hoarding our troops for Iraq Iraq wasn't yet on the horizon. We had very few troops in Afghanistan during the Battle of Tora Bora (which was in Nov & Dec 2001). The war had been fought mainly by US SF's and CIA paramilitaries working with the Northern Alliance and tribal militias with air support from bases in nearby countries. Thats about all we had there because we didn't have time to get troops there. Afghanistan is on the other side of the world and landlocked.
