Did you see where China handed out the DEATH SENTENCE for their equivalent of the head of the FDA- for taking bribes and allowing chemically tainted food to pass inspection?

Makes you want to run out to your nearest Chinese restaurant doesn't it<vbg>

What a boring day in the markets today. You'd think after a long holdiay weekend there would be more action.

I made cabinets and part of bookshelves from some 28 mm (1 inch) 18 ply (hardwood). I don't know where it was made, but China is a good guess.

I also got some great looking plywood six months ago at HD, also marked Made in China. Stunk like the dickens when sawed - later I read an article that said that a lot of Chinese plywood is made with formaldehyde that is banned in the US and to not use it on interior construction.
